COVID 19

2021 UPDATE:

Vaccination:  The majority of our drivers are vaccinated and while we have relaxed some of the earlier measures from 2020, safety remains our #1 priority and we will continue to utilize any and all of the measures put forth by the CDC, WHO and Oregon Governor Kate Brown when appropriate.   There is a constant shifting dynamic connected to surges and variants.  We suggest following sanitization, masking and social distancing requirements when appropriate and to the extent necessary while recreating on our beautiful Deschutes River.    Please see links below for the most up to date information, recommendations and requirements.

Safety:  For obvious reasons we do request a few precautions.  Please bring sanitizing wipes and wipe down the steering wheel, gear shift and door handles

IMPORTANT:  Please contact our office if we shuttle your vehicle and someone in your group later (UP TO 7 DAYS) tests positive for Coronavirus.  This is super important so that we are able to protect our drivers and the Maupin community.  (We are a small community with very limited access to medical facilities so we have to be extra careful)

I have included a couple of helpful links for your review.  Please take a peek and make sure that you understand your role and responsibilities in allowing us to remain open and enjoy the Deschutes River!

Social Distancing/Masks:  Please remember that social distancing and Mask guidelines set forth by Oregon Governor Kate Brown are still in effect and should be followed to the extent possible while recreating on our beautiful Deschutes River (in particular at boat ramps, day use areas and campgrounds) and while visiting the surrounding communities.

Be well and Stay Safe!

Reserve Early::  Make sure to submit your reservation as early as possible to ensure that you will get a "spot".  We have seen a large increase in shuttles, partially because there are fewer shuttle companies operating, but mostly because there are more cars being shuttled (groups bringing multiple vehicles instead of carpooling, etc.)

Cancellations:  If you or anyone in your party experiences symptoms related to COVID19 please stay home.  There will be no cancellation fee.  We appreciate and respect your willingness to err on the side of caution.
